Reach out to check availability for your due date and to see if we’re a good fit. I only take a limited number of newborns each month so I can pour my full heart into every session. My style leans more minimalist — focusing on your baby’s natural beauty without the distraction of heavy props or over-styling.
1. Say Hello
My clients typically book with me somewhere in their 2nd trimester. Some as soon as they find out! In most cases, we don't know when baby will make their big debut. When you book with me, I schedule your due date expecting you to deliver somewhere in that 2 week area. I ask that you notify me within 48 hours of baby's arrival and then we schedule your session sometime before baby turns 4 weeks old. Ideally 10-14 days old. There is a $100 retainer due at booking and the remainder is due the day of your session.
2. Schedule it
About two weeks before your due date, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to help me plan your dream session. We’ll chat about your favorite colors, your style preferences, and anything you’d prefer to avoid. When you arrive, everything will be thoughtfully set up and ready — so you can just relax and soak it all in.
3. Planning it
Once you have your sweet babe, we will get you on my calendar-officially! Woo hoo! My shooting days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I like to start newborn sessions at 10am. We can be flexible with this time if schedules don't allow for a 10am. Weekends are not available.
It's important to note that your baby is my boss that day. I will never force a baby to sleep or force a baby into any positions they don't want to go in. These sessions are baby led and I am always reading their cues. Newborn sessions tend to last an hour and a half but I always tell clients to plan for 3 hours just in case.
4. Your Session
After our session, we'll cozy up and dive right into the magic we just created. If you're anything like me, instant gratification is key! Together, we'll handpick your favorites on the spot—because you deserve only the best. Once you've made your selections, your polished gallery will land in your inbox within three weeks, each image meticulously edited to perfection.
