The Newborn Experience
I supply it all. Wraps, hats, headbands, crates, baskets and buckets, diapers, wipes and pacifiers. All you have to bring is a way to feed your precious baby. You and your family can kick back and relax and watch as I gently mold your sleeping beauty into a work of art. I'm well trained in newborn safety and take every measure possible to ensure your baby's comfort. The process is slow but steady and patience is key!

Shoot me a message to see if I'm available for your due date and to see if we are a good fit! I take a limited amount of newborns each month to ensure that I'm at my best for each session. My style is more minimalist. I don't like to use a lot of props to distract from your beautiful baby.
1. Say Hello
2 weeks prior to your due date, I send you a questionnaire to help me plan your dream session. I ask about your color choices, if you're looking for a lot of family portraits, things you don't like, etc. When you arrive, everything will be set up and ready to use.
3. Planning it
Once you have your sweet babe, we will get you on my calendar-officially! Woo hoo! My shooting days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I like to start newborn sessions at 10am. We can be flexible with this time if schedules don't allow for a 10am. Weekends are not available.
It's important to note that your baby is my boss that day. I will never force a baby to sleep or force a baby into any positions they don't want to go in. These sessions are baby led and I am always reading their cues. Newborn sessions tend to last an hour and a half but I always tell clients to plan for 3 hours just in case.
4. Your Session
My clients typically book with me somewhere in their 2nd trimester. Some as soon as they find out! In most cases, we don't know when baby will make their big debut. When you book with me, I schedule your due date expecting you to deliver somewhere in that 2 week area. I ask that you notify me within 48 hours of baby's arrival and then we schedule your session sometime before baby turns 4 weeks old. Ideally 10-14 days old. There is a $100 retainer due at booking and the remainder is due the day before your session.
2. Schedule it
Shortly after your session, within three days, I will send over a proofing gallery of everything we did during our session. You will see a gallery of 25-30 images to choose from, depending on which collection you are leaning towards. You only buy what you love! After you have chosen, your finished gallery will be delivered via email within 3 weeks. Each image is carefully edited to perfection.
