The Family Experience
Family sessions are more than photos, they’re about building a visual legacy and capturing the love and laughter that will echo for generations. Picture your little ones running through wildflowers, dipping their toes into the cool waters of the lake, or pausing to soak up a song you hum just for them as the sun melts into the horizon. These sessions are done from May through October. Together, we’ll create a relaxed, joyful evening that tells your family’s story in the most beautiful way.
Capturing a moment that's gone forever
Once you've booked officially, I send over What to Expect guide. It talks about how the session works, what we do, what we don't do. It also goes over littles handling a later session.
I also send over a style guide to help you look your best. You can always reach out to me for help on styling at any point before your session and I'm happy to send links to some beautiful pieces as well!
A couple weeks out from your session, I send you a questionnaire to help me plan your session and get to know you a little bit.
3. Planning it
Lets connect and see if we're a good fit and if I'm available for you! I take a very limited number of sessions each month to ensure I'm at my best for every client. My family sessions are very laid back, fun and stress free. You don't need to worry if everyone is looking and smiling. These sessions are very candid and honest. Family sessions take place from May-October at sunset.
1. Say Hello
My shooting evenings are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at sunset. There is a $100 retainer due at booking to secure your slot. The remainder is due the day before your session.
2. Schedule it
Once our session concludes, we have two options for reviewing your images: we can either meet up at my studio for a personalized viewing experience, or you can opt for the convenience of online viewing from the comfort of your own home. The choice is yours—whichever suits your style and schedule best.
5. Your Photographs
I can't stress enough how laid back these sessions are. I gently guide and prompt you the whole way. I love drawing out that genuine connection between you and your most precious loved ones. Family sessions tend to last between 30-40 minutes.
