The milestone Experience
Milestone sessions are perfect for babies between 3 and 12 months old. The most popular ages are around 3 months, 6.5 to 7 months, and 1 year. The one-year session can include a fun cake smash or be kept simple, depending on what feels best for your baby. My personal favorite is the 6.5 to 7-month stage. Babies are usually sitting up on their own, not quite crawling yet, and still full of big, happy smiles before the stranger danger fully kicks in.
At this stage, I’m all about creating a calm, natural experience for your little one. I work slowly and with lots of patience, letting them warm up at their own pace. It’s all about making them feel comfortable and capturing those sweet moments without any pressure — because that’s when the real magic happens.

Send me a message to see if I'm available for your time frame and to see if we are a good fit! Milestone sessions can be done from 3 months to 1 year with the most popular being a 1 year session. My setups are very simplistic with minimal props to keep the focus on your darling baby.
1. Say Hello
My shooting days are weekdays from 10-1pm. Alternatively, these sessions can be done outdoors as well from May-October at sunset. If you're interested in an outdoor setting, plan on being in the photos with your baby as well, especially if your baby isn't sitting quite yet. There is a $100 retainer due at booking to secure your slot. The remainder is due the day of your session.
2. Schedule it
I like to plan these sessions around baby's nap time so we get the best shot at a happy babe! Mom, dad and siblings are always welcome to hop in a few shots as well.
I have a little client closet just for baby! Full of timeless pieces for boys and girls. No need to go shopping, just arrive to your session and we can pick outfits out together. I also have headbands for little girls as well. We will have up to an hour to play and capture all those little details that you love so much.
3. Planning it
Milestone sessions take between 40-60 minutes. I plan for 10-15 minutes of warm up time if your baby has a bit of stranger danger. I love using an array of soft colors and textiles. If you would like to bring a cake for a 1 year session, you may! I don't provide the cake for allergen reasons.
4. Your Session
After our session, we'll cozy up and dive right into the magic we just created. If you're anything like me, instant gratification is key! Together, we'll handpick your favorites on the spot—because you deserve only the best. Once you've made your selections, your polished gallery will land in your inbox within three weeks, each image meticulously edited to perfection.
