Family Photography – The Arnold Family

Every year, I do Motherhood/mommy and me sessions. For the last two seasons, I had been using a location in front of a vacant office building. It was so gorgeous and so perfect. The light there was like a dream! I kept driving by it in April to see how my secret little spot was doing. I felt a knot twisting in my stomach to see that they had kept mowing my spot down and laying mulch where beautiful wild flowers used to grow. It was sadly time for me to find a new outdoor location. Some wonderful local photographers told me about a cute spot in Genesee Valley Park here in Rochester, NY. I ventured out with my family to see this gorgeous location! They have recently mowed since this session but it will grow back quickly!

I got to take little Janes newborn portraits in October of 2018. So, it was such a treat to see her last month for her Mommy and Me family session! I also got to meet big sister Grace and she was such a joy as well. You can tell how much she absolutely loves her little sister. The light for our session was so gorgeous! If you live here in Rochester, NY, you know we are having the coldest, dreariest spring EVER. It’s been super rough with these outdoor sessions. We had to reschedule this session twice! It was for the best, though. Both girls were so happy to be photographed, the light and weather was beyond perfect and this mama looked SO stunning. There is simply something about seeing a mother with her children in photographs. I had chills and butterflies shooting this entire session. It filled my heart with joy and I know Erin is loving these images with her two beauties. I am so blessed to be able to create these photographs for families!
